How To Measure For A Vertical Platform Lift
Vertical wheelchair lifts are designed to reach a number of heights, usually at 2 foot intervals with the lowest level being 52 inches. In this example we have measured the second level we need to reach at 152 inches. The 12 foot vertical lift will reach a usable height of only 144 inches so we must step up to the next level of 14 feet, or 178 inches. The 14 foot vertical lift was ordered for this application.
