There are two primary types of stair lifts, rack & pinion or cable drive. Both types of stair lifts can be self installed, except for the Stair-Glide Outdoor Stair Lift which requires special installation that is included in the price.
We encourage all of our customers to install their own stair lifts if any able bodied family member, friend, or neighbor is available to assist. Installation of a stair lift is very easy, and we provide assistance by phone between 9am and 10pm every day including holidays.
However, if you don't feel you are ready to install your own stair lift, we offer a professional measurement and installation service that can come to your home and measure your stair case and then return later to install it. Please call for details.
