The carrier's platform automatically folds up when not in use and it's designed to transport full-sized powered wheel chairs safely on the outside of your vehicle. The Automatic Universal Power Chair Lift can lift and transport up to 350 pounds. Finally, the Hold Down Arm replaces the usual strap system on this model. This makes the carrier even easier to use. The Automatic Universal Power Chair Lift with Hold Down Arm can be used with Class II or larger trailer hitches.

Please note that the weight of your power chair, plus the weight of the wheelchair carrier, must not exceed your vehicle's hitch rating. The carrier's lifting and carrying capacity is 350 pounds, including the 105-pound weight of the carrier itself. You have 245 pounds of additional weight to cover the weight of your wheelchair.
