AmeriGlide's In-N-Out Mini Universal Hitch Lift 200 is a unique hybrid inside/outside lift. "In-N-Out" means you get the best of both worlds. The lift itself installs on your vehicle's trailer hitch, saving valuable space inside your vehicle. The lift is then used as a scooter lift or wheelchair lift to load your scooter or power chair into your vehicle, protected from the elements. "Mini" means that the lift is lightweight and has a compact design that doesn't take up as much room as a trunk lift or boom lift for the back of your SUV or mini-van. "Universal" means that the lift can be used as a wheelchair lift for cars, a wheelchair lift for other vehicles such as SUVs or vans, a scooter lift for cars, or a scooter lift for other types of vehicles. The word "hitch" simply refers to the feature whereby the lift mounts into a trailer hitch receiver, becoming what we call a hitch lift. Finally, "200" means that this hitch lift can lift up to 200 pounds safely - perfect for most travel-size and micro-size scooters and power chairs.
When using the hitch lift to load into vans or SUVs, you will need 38 inches of available headroom.
